Meet Kimber

I'm Kimber, married to my wonderful husband, Casey, since 2009, raising our darling little boy, Maxson, in Lincoln, Nebraska as my husband attends dental school. Some kind of camera is at arm's length to capture life.

The largest portion of my photo shoots occur in Nebraska, but since we do travel to visit family, I'm available for photo sessions in Arizona, Wyoming, and Utah occasionally throughout the year. I will post my availability for those as they occur.

I was always (and still am) the friend with a camera in hand taking pictures of the fun things going on with friends and family. I think looking back at the small experiences of life is such a sweet gift! Capturing that true smile, those flirtatious eyes, that little pouty face, all those little details are what make up life and what make up happiness. And what's better than that memory lasting forever in a picture? I'll do whatever I can to make your session enjoyable, easy, and memorable.

When I was getting married and looking for a photographer, I wanted one that gave me my digital photos and didn’t over-charge for digital images. So, that’s why I give all my clients their pictures digitally through a photo sharing site (better than a disc). It’s only fair. :)

My husband is very supportive and often assists me with my sessions – which I love because he gets any and ALL kids to laugh and smile. So, if you schedule with me, he will hopefully be there, yay for talented assistants!
I shoot typically in the evenings – but we can also talk morning shoots as well.
I’d love to meet you and take your pictures – contact me via email: or phone: 480.202.0257 if you have any questions or would like to schedule a session.

I love clean, artistic, simple pictures.
My favorite photos end up being the ones when you're not looking at the camera. Talking/laughing amidst each other or with the kids end up making the best shots.
Whether candid or posed, I strive to have crisp and in-focus pictures.
My editing style changes and varies depending on the location and subjects in the pictures. But I’m pretty consistent in my editing choices. If you’d like a certain feel on your pictures, just let me know
Most of my images are straight out of the camera, with a few tweaks here and there, as to avoid over-editing.
I adore fun, bright colors, as you can tell from my pictures – so anytime you are getting ready for a photo shoot, don’t forget that splash of color!
